Manual Bar Screen

Manual Bar Screen

Function:

  • Manual bar screens are widely deployed at the entrance of the hydraulic structure, water intake, and pumping stations to trap flowing debris of large & medium size that could instigate downstream trouble. These screens are suited to serve industrial, municipal, and process water/wastewater screening. The debris is arrested in equally spaced inclined bars and is cleaned manually with help of a manual rake comb, provided with the screen. We manufacture fixed and removable manual bar screens.
  • The manual bar screen for wastewater treatment incorporates inclined bars that are equally spaced, to arrest large and medium flowing waste. Commonly, these screens are installed ahead of mechanical bar screens. It can also be used as a standby for mechanical bar screens.
  • The presence of debris in the wastewater is one of the main causes of damage to wastewater treatment devices and equipment, which ultimately leads to a reduction in their service life. For this purpose, in the entrance of the sewage inlet channels, a kind of mesh plate or rod is installed under the title of manual garbage collector to prevent them from entering the sewage treatment plants. The main difference between this type of garbage collector and mechanical garbage collectors is the type of garbage collected on the bar or mesh plate. In the manual type, human operators are responsible for this. Depending on the amount of pollution in the water, the process of garbage collection will be done in different time periods.

Features :
